It’s just over a month until Avengers: Infinity War makes its to way to the big screen, pitching Marvel’s entire universe of heroes against the most powerful villain the series has seen yet: Thanos. Empire Magazine has revealed six new covers for its May edition featuring the stars of the hotly-anticipated Marvel epic Avengers: Infinity War giving us a new look at: Cover 1 Black Widow. For now, the wait is nearly over to Infinity War on the big screen. Though the movie is breaking pre-sale ticket records, the second trailer wasn't able to break the record of the first in YouTube viewings, which was a minor disappointment for Marvel fans who were expecting it to break another record. Infinity War hits theaters one week early on April 27th and pre-sale tickets are available now. Instead of giving everything away in the trailers, which has been the trend lately, Marvel has been keeping everything under lock and key until the movie is officially released. Marvel Studios has done an exemplary job promoting Infinity War and the rest of the movies contained within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For this week’s EW issue dedicated to Avengers: Infinity War, we have 22 heroes, 15 different covers, and one big, bad villain at the center Thanos, the Mad Titan. There's still so much secrecy surrounding the movie that Marvel fans are going slightly insane trying to figure everything out, which is a good thing. Additionally, Thanos gets his own cover and he looks like he's a male model on the cover of GQ.īotched magazine covers or not, nothing is going to stop the Infinity War hype machine at this point. It's pretty cringe-worthy to look at, especially paired with Elizabeth Olsen's overly contoured face as Scarlet Witch. It's clear looking at the image now that the original picture did not feature a beard, so whoever was in charge of editing the cover decided to do a reverse Justice League and add a bear to Evans' face. Marvel fans were also quick to point out that they were excited to see Captain America and Iron Man together, but noticed that Chris Evans' beard was really weird. Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch is unrecognizable on one of the covers of Empire Magazine's Infinity War special editions, which the actress and Marvel fans pointed out on social media. Olsen posted the cover and then asked her fans, "Does this look like me?" Fans had already been angry about the bad photo editing job and came out in droves to support the actress. The face has been Photoshopped, like the rest and it looks terrible.
